"You think, when you're out of school you're free, sonny? Oh, hell no! Then work life calls for you - and work life is only a continuation of what's been happening in school, only worse and even more strict. What you already were there, you gonna be also in your job life. If you were a loser, a slacker or a victim of your school mates' coping methods for boredom already there, then you gonna be the same among your colleagues. A really, really small cog in the clockwork...
The only way you'll not be forced to deal with this is when you happened to be born to an incredibly wealthy family or if you managed to become rich on your own before the day you leave school. Which is like zero probability.
So, don't even try to think you're a bigwig that gets his way."

Try applying the saying above to them.

Date: 5 July 2017 03:37 pm (UTC)On one hand, if you quit school just because you're pissed off by it or you want to play with your phone the whole day, does that really make you free from duties that society directs at you?
No. If you quit school - no matter if early or at the latest point in time possible -, then work life waits for you. People expect you to work, to earn money. And they're quite persistent in that wish...
Assumed you have no social system at all, which more is the common thing in the world, then you can't run away from it.
But even assumed you live in a country like mine, how long you think your parents gonna play that game and feed you?
Anytime all parents say "you're XX years old now, it's time to stand on your own feet, I don't have the money to feed you and your luxurious desires" (when children get bigger, their hobbies get more costly, don't they?). If you don't work, then at least you've gotta file an application for social benefits. And, guess what they do? To keep your payments up, you've gotta join their programs and suggestions for jobs.
So... no matter what, just quitting school is not gonna get you out of that chain of duties. That's a pretty childish imagination to think so.
Then, unrelated to that (but with the possibility to be a continuation of that): If you think after school you gonna be Superman in the social hierarchy, if had been the victim before, just quit that idea right away. You always carry yourself with you, wherever you go. And when you've been trained to be the one to get beaten, if you had trained to be the one who doesn't do what he's gotten for a task, if you had trained to be the one who always comes an hour too late at least, then you gonna be the same when you enter work life. And you'll also have the same responses to your behavior like in school. Nothing with the myth of the one who was a loser who magically becomes a winner without changing anything or working on his own self. Nothing with the myth "at work you gonna meet different people with a different scale of tolerance for behavior beyond the average".
That's the reality. Say no more!
The only way out of this is if you can pay yourself the freedom from this. Which means, either your parents must be rich and they must grant you a credit card without limit or you must get rich before you quit school yourself.
When you got money, you can do whatever you want in this society, even if that means you being lazy and a good-for-nothing-guy.
Then you can follow your dreams of playing all day long...
But this variation of reality has like ZERO probability to become true, if you're already in the game.
So quit that too in your childish brain if you think that's going to get you what you want.
...Any questions left?

Date: 5 July 2017 10:39 pm (UTC)I'm not only the stunt "the system is bad", I'm also the stunt "fucker, turn your head to the right side nature has intented the face to be on and turn it with the mouth upwards as it's also supposed to be!", meaning "the system is bad, but if you just play the slacker, you also not gonna win only a flower pot even in a system that is fair!"
To me "the system is bad" is not the ultimate answer. Humans are bad and undisciplined as well - and think they're Gods while they're just barely more than bedwetters.
That's not the way the stage play's gonna work like.
